About the author

Tracey is a part-time travel writer and food critic, often writing under a pseudonym where anonymity is required. (He is not always complimentary in his reviews!)

After his first trip with his family to Club Med Noumea in 1988. He became hooked. (Less kind people have said ‘obsessed’.)

In January 1996, the family went to Club Med Bali and even though it rained for almost the entire trip, his children said it was without doubt, the best holiday they had ever had.

Numerous Club Med holidays followed with Tracey’s children enjoying and benefiting from the brand’s development into the fully, family focused organization it is today.

Tracey and his wife continue to travel extensively throughout the world and at last count had enjoyed over 35 visits to Club Med resorts, including six stays at Club Med Cherating Beach in Malaysia.

During that time he has acquired an almost unbelievable knowledge of how a Club Med resort should operate and what you as a guest are entitled to experience during your stay. There is a standard each Club Med village is expected to meet, but sometimes, for various reasons, that standard falls short.

Tracey tells it as it is and he is not sponsored in any way so you get told what is good, what is bad and what is just plain unacceptable, about any Club Med village he writes about.

Why spend hours of your valuable time researching the internet when all the information you could possibly need about Club Med Cherating can be found in one place.

He provides detailed information (probably far more than you need) so you can make an informed decision as to whether this holiday is right for you and your family – before you outlay a considerable amount of money!

If you do decide to go, the secrets and tips he reveals will save you the cost of his travel guide, many times over.
